Responding to CSRD requirements on climate change

As part of internal efforts to prepare for CSRD reporting, we set science-based climate targets for Sitowise, drew up a transition plan to achieve the targets, and examined the risks and opportunities related to climate change.

In 2023, Sitowise committed to setting climate targets in line with the SBTi initiative. The aim was to replace the company's old carbon neutrality target with new targets inline with science and the Paris 1.5 degree target. Target setting was carried out in autumn 2024, and included preparing four scope 1 + 2 and two scope 3 emission reduction scenarios, from which a suitable target level for Sitowise was selected in discussion with the group management team. The goals are currently being validated by the SBTi.

The work also included interviews with key personel from the perspective of Sitowise's emissions. A climate transition plan was created based on the interviews as well as expert work. The transition plan was drawn up to support the SBTi targets and included a description of the measures, as well as a preliminary schedule and the definition of responsible persons.

In addition, as part of the CSRD reporting requirements, the risks and opportunities related to climate change were examined. The work was carried out through interviews with the group management team and a survey aimed at key employees.
