Routa in Laukaa winter maintenance monitoring

The municipality of Laukaa is a long-term user of the Routa system and the first municipal customer of the Routa system. The system is mainly used for monitoring and reporting winter maintenance, but the system is also used in different locations in the summer.

Most of the winter contracting in the municipality is carried out by contractors, but the municipality also uses its own equipment. The system works flawlessly for both the municipality's own personnel and contractors. The system automatically calculates the cost of the work done, which makes it easier for both the contractor to invoice and check invoices. Versatile reports and simulation features provide exceptional transparency in the work done.

- We have also been able to utilise several years of data in competitive tendering, as the amounts and costs of different types of work, for example in terms of time or distance, are precisely known, says Jan Viilos from the municipality of Laukaa.
