In Keuruu, Routa is widely utilised in road and street maintenance, property yard maintenance and other maintenance activities, including various soil transports and the allocation of their costs. Traffic sign inventories have also been carried out using the system.

The system is in daily use by the municipality's own personnel, contractors and subcontractors. For work performed as a contract, the system calculates the costs using various invoicing bases in accordance with the contract agreements.

– The system's monitoring data has also been utilised in a few slipping cases, when maintenance measures carried out before the event can be retrieved afterwards by type of work and time of day, as well as driving routes on a map template to verify the work done, adds Petri Pummila from Keuruu.
