During his career Heliövaara has worked in various executive positions, including CEO of construction company SRV and insurance company Pohjola. In addition, he has served as Director General of the Ownership Steering Department in the Finnish Prime Minister’s office. Currently Heliövaara is a board member and vice chairman in YIT, the largest Finnish and significant North European construction company, and Capman, a publicly listed investment company.
