Through the acquisition, Sitowise, a Nordic expert in the built environment, will significantly increase company’s foothold in Sweden. Joining forces with TFIP brings new competence in building technology, highly skilled employees and increases also company’s regional coverage.
TFIP has an impressive track record working as highly appreciated technical consultant in large infrastructure projects both in Sweden and in Norway. At Sitowise we are bold enough to call ourselves The Smart City Company, and for us it means combining sustainability with data based digital solutions. To be able to create more responsible cities, we need smarter and more sustainable infrastructure.

Sitowise’s ambition is to have a strong foothold in the Nordics, both in infrastructure and building sectors. Newest acquisition gives solid foundation for group’s future growth in Sweden. Sitowise has 150 structural engineering and geotechnical professionals working in company’s subsidiary Byggnadstekniska Byrån.

In the transaction Sitowise acquires the entire share capital of TFIP. After the acquisition Sitowise Group’s revenue in Sweden increases from EUR 20 million to around EUR 30 million. TFIP continues to operate under its own name and brand as a subsidiary of Sitowise. Tomas van Zalingen as well as other key personnel and 70 experts will all continue in their current positions.
After the acquisition, Sitowise Group employs nearly 1,900 experts in Finland, Sweden, Latvia and Estonia.
