Routa in Katutekno's information management

Katutekno carries out asphalt repairs on asphalted roads and streets throughout Finland. The infrastructure maintenance system Routa supports all phases of Katutekno's operations, from the planning of repair work to the final documentation. Katutekno cooperates with all major infrastructure construction operators in Finland.

Street techno renovation sites are planned in advance using our Routa system. Routa serves as an important support in making the planning of the entire work more efficient. All contract work can be found in the same system, customer data and location data connected to the same information. Thus, the planning of work can be done as efficiently as possible.

Routa also serves as a tool for sharing information: when making plans, supervisors are able to share information with the entire working group. On contract days, Routa records the work, dates, measurement records, location information and consignment notes. Katutekno also manages its repair equipment through Routa.

Routa helps optimise the workflow by indicating where and at what distance the road is the next repair site – whether slow-moving heavy vehicles should be moved on a trailer or by driving.

Reports on completed work can be extracted from the system for invoicing. Street techno employees also enter working hours and daily allowances into the system.
