The Smart City Solutions for Mobility
Smart and user-centric mobility and the digitalisation of transport are essential elements of a smart and sustainable city.
Smart and user-centric mobility and the digitalisation of transport are essential elements of a smart and sustainable city.
Transport and traffic accounts for a significant share of the European Union CO2 emissions. In the Nordics, long distances and the contrast between densely populated urban areas and sparsely populated rural areas make our transport environment unique.
It is therefore important to understand that data and digitalisation provide real strength and added value for the development of transport and infrastructure and reaching the emissions targets. Data related to transport and traffic infrastructure and the mobility services help, for example, to optimize the use of equipment and improve the maintenance of infrastructure, as well as to bring alternative ways of mobility alongside private cars.
The Nordic+ Pavilion at ITS World Congress Hamburg Exhibition showcases the latest innovations from the region – check out the Pavilion program below and be there for the 50+ pitches from companies, startups and public organizations to catch up with what’s going on.
